Funeral Arrangements Announced for Master Deputy Jillian Hope Olson

Jillian Olson Funeral Arrangements

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department has announced funeral arrangements for Master Deputy Jillian Hope Olson, who passed away on July 30, 2026.

Deputy Olson joined the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department in June 2021 and served in the Warrant Division. She was also a member of the department’s Dive Team, where she volunteered for specialized assignments in support of her fellow deputies and the community.

Family, friends, fellow law enforcement officers, and members of the public are invited to honor her life and service.

Master Deputy Olson will lie in state on Wednesday, August 5, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1430 North Lake Drive in Lexington. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Michael Lutheran Church Cemetery, 400 River Road in Columbia.

Master Deputy Olson is remembered for her dedication to public service, commitment to her profession, and the lasting impact she made on those who served alongside her.
