South Carolina Law Enforcement Memorial – May 6

May 2, 2026

The South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police invites law enforcement officers, families, and community members to attend the 20th Annual South Carolina Law Enforcement Memorial on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 7:30 PM. The service will be held at the Law Enforcement Monument on the Statehouse Grounds in Columbia.

This annual memorial honors the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. During this year’s service, we will remember the officer lost in 2025, along with historical officers whose service and sacrifice date back to 1876. Their commitment to protecting others continues to define the standard of this profession.

The memorial provides an opportunity for the law enforcement community to come together in a shared moment of reflection and unity. It is also a time to stand alongside the families who carry the legacy of those who gave their lives in service to others.

Agency leaders are encouraged to attend with their personnel and to ensure that the families of fallen officers are aware of this opportunity to be honored and remembered.

For additional information, please contact Chaplain Dale Jones.

Join us as we honor service, sacrifice, and the enduring legacy of South Carolina’s fallen officers.
