Funeral Arrangements for Greenwood Police Officer DJ Keller

May 13, 2026

The South Carolina law enforcement community is mourning the loss of Greenwood Police Department Officer Don “DJ” Keller, who was killed in the line of duty on Monday, May 11, 2026, at just 31 years old.

Police Officer Don Dj Keller

Officer Keller served the citizens of Greenwood with honor, professionalism, and dedication. A graduate of Ware Shoals High School and the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, he joined the Greenwood City Police Department in 2023 and quickly earned the respect of fellow officers and the community he proudly served. In 2025, he became a K9 officer alongside his partner, K9 Vice.

Before beginning his law enforcement career, DJ served his country in the United States Army from 2016 to 2020, attaining the rank of E6. He also continued his military service as a member of the South Carolina National Guard. His life reflected a deep commitment to service, sacrifice, and protecting others.

Above all, DJ was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Alison “Ali” Keller, and their daughter, Ella Bloom Keller, along with a large family and countless friends and fellow officers who will carry his memory forward.
