No Parole for Ben Strickland’s Killer

May 23, 2025

No Parole for Cop Killers

Ben Wesley Strickland

Patrolman First Class Ben Strickland served South Carolina with honor and dedication, protecting our communities for sixteen years before his life was violently taken in the line of duty. The individual responsible for his murder, Tommy Q. Thompson (Inmate #00072571), is now seeking parole. Your voice matters. Use this form to send a clear message to the South Carolina Parole Board: DENY PAROLE for those who murder law enforcement officers. Every message sent demonstrates the resolve of our law enforcement family and supporters to stand for justice and public safety. Emails may be submitted through June 16, 2025, and will become part of the official record. Thank you for standing with us and honoring the service and sacrifice of Patrolman Ben Strickland.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to stand with law enforcement and ask the South Carolina Parole Board to DENY PAROLE for the individual responsible for the murder of Patrolman Ben Strickland. Your support and advocacy make a difference.

By coming together as a community, we honor Patrolman Strickland’s service and sacrifice and send a clear message that the safety of our officers and the pursuit of justice remain our highest priorities.
