SCFOP Critical Incident Seminar – Charleston

The South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police is hosting a Critical Incident Seminar designed specifically for active duty Class 1 law enforcement officers. This one-day training will equip officers with practical strategies to respond confidently and lawfully in the immediate aftermath of a critical incident, including vehicle collisions and officer-involved shootings.

Led by Michael E. Coviello, Esq., Associate General Counsel for the National FOP Labor Services Division, this seminar covers:

  • How to navigate high-pressure situations during and after a critical event

  • Communication do’s and don’ts for involved and witnessing officers

  • The responsibilities officers carry based on their role in the incident
