FOP Day at the Statehouse 2026

The South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police will host FOP Day at the Statehouse on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, on the Statehouse grounds in Columbia.

The day will begin with a comprehensive briefing for FOP members at 7:00 AM at the Solomon Blatt Building. This briefing will focus on our legislative priorities and other legislation impacting law enforcement, as well as the broader advocacy efforts of the SCFOP during the 2026 legislative session.

From 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the SCFOP will welcome members of the South Carolina General Assembly and their staff for a breakfast engagement, providing an opportunity for direct interaction and discussion on issues affecting the law enforcement profession.

Following the breakfast, FOP members will attend the General Sessions of both the South Carolina House of Representatives and the South Carolina Senate. One-on-one meetings with members of the General Assembly will also take place throughout the day.

FOP Day at the Statehouse is a key component of the SCFOP’s broader advocacy strategy. Building and strengthening relationships with lawmakers ensures that the voices of South Carolina’s law enforcement officers continue to be heard clearly and consistently on issues that impact their safety, rights, and ability to serve.
