The South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police holds a Biennial Conference every two years to set the organization’s goals and agenda. The business of the order is conducted, seminars are offered, the Constitution and By-Laws are reviewed and changed, the Executive Board is elected, Local Lodge Trustees and Committee Chairs report their activities, and local lodge leaders network and advance their knowledge.
This event represents over 48 years of professional law enforcement experience for the premier law enforcement organization in South Carolina.
Law enforcement officials from all over the country are expected to attend, including police chiefs, administrators, sheriffs, training officers, fleet managers, federal officers, corrections officers, and procurement staff.
Mini-Conference
The Mini Conference is an important gathering for SCFOP members held between September 1 and October 30 during uneven years. While similar to our Biennial State Conference, the primary distinction is that the election of the Executive Board occurs only at the biennial event.
The Mini Conference serves as a platform for leadership training, networking opportunities, and receiving updates through reports from committees, officers, and local lodges. Previous conferences have been hosted in locations such as West Columbia, Myrtle Beach, and Moncks Corner, providing convenient access for members throughout the state.
Designed exclusively for SCFOP members, the Mini Conference offers valuable opportunities to connect with fellow officers and gain insights that enhance service and strengthen fraternal bonds.
