How to Get Your Plate

There are two ways to get your Back the Badge license plate:

  1. Complete the Application
    Download and fill out the SCDMV Form MV-95.
  2. Order Online
    Visit the SCDMV’s online Plate Gallery at scdmvonline.com.

Plate Details

  • Eligibility: Available to all South Carolina residents.
  • Fee: $40 (plus standard registration fees).
  • Renewal Period: Every two years.
  • Application Form: Download SCDMV Form MV-95.

Funds raised through the Back the Badge license plate program are used to support critical law enforcement initiatives, including:
