Member of the Year
The Member of the Year Award honors an individual whose leadership, service, and commitment to both the profession and the Fraternal Order of Police exemplify our highest standards. These members lead by example and leave a lasting impact on those around them.
Lodge of the Year
The Lodge of the Year Award celebrates a local lodge that sets the bar in innovation, community outreach, and member engagement. These lodges not only strengthen our organization—they strengthen law enforcement across South Carolina.
Legislator of the Year
The Legislator of the Year Award is presented to a state lawmaker who has shown unwavering support for law enforcement through advocacy, legislation, and public leadership. Their work directly improves the lives of officers and the safety of our communities.
Governor’s Law Enforcement Officer of the Year
SCFOP is proud to serve on the advisory committee for the Governor’s Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award. We nominate officers across state, county, and municipal agencies whose service represents the very best of our profession. Many of our nominees have gone on to be named finalists or winners, and we remain committed to spotlighting acts of bravery, leadership, and integrity throughout the state.
