- Accidental Death Benefit:
- Amount: $2,500
- Coverage: 24-hour coverage, whether on duty or off duty.
- Details: This benefit pays out when a member dies from a covered accidental bodily injury that is independent of all other causes.
- Line of Duty Benefit:
- Amount: $32,500
- Coverage: Applies to deaths that occur during the performance of law enforcement duties.
- Details: This benefit is paid in addition to the Accidental Death Benefit.
- Felonious Assault Benefit:
- Amount: $2,500
- Coverage: Applies when a member’s loss of life results from use of force equivalent to a felony.
- Details: This benefit is paid in addition to the Accidental Death and Line of Duty Benefits.
