Supporting a Statewide Effort: Donut Icon Fundraiser Begins April 12

April 12, 2026

On April 12, participating Dunkin’ locations across South Carolina will begin the Donut Icon Fundraiser, a statewide effort supporting Special Olympics South Carolina through the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics South Carolina.

The campaign will run through April 30, bringing together communities, businesses, and supporters across the state. The South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police is serving as a promotional partner, helping raise awareness of the effort and its reach.

How the Fundraiser Works

At participating locations, customers can purchase Donut Icons at the register. These icons are displayed in-store throughout the campaign, representing individual contributions made by members of the community.

Funds raised during the campaign support Special Olympics South Carolina programs, which provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities.

A Statewide Effort

The fundraiser spans a broad geographic area, with participating locations across the coast, Midlands, Pee Dee, and Upstate regions. From larger cities to smaller communities, the campaign reflects a coordinated effort to support athletes and programs throughout South Carolina.

The reach of the fundraiser allows residents across the state to take part in a shared initiative during the same timeframe, reinforcing a consistent presence in local communities.
