Elevate Together: A Statewide Opportunity for Women in Law Enforcement

January 27, 2026

Women serving in law enforcement carry a unique responsibility. Every shift requires professionalism, resilience, and leadership, often while navigating challenges that extend beyond the badge. Across South Carolina, women officers, deputies, agents, and civilian professionals continue to strengthen agencies, mentor others, and shape the future of public safety. On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, those efforts come together at a single statewide event designed specifically to support, connect, and elevate women in the profession.

2026 South Carolina Women in Law Enforcement Conference

The 2026 South Carolina Women in Law Enforcement Conference, hosted by South Carolina Women in Law Enforcement, will take place at Alhambra Hall in Mount Pleasant. This one-day conference brings women from agencies across the state together for focused professional development, meaningful connection, and shared purpose. The South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police is proud to support this conference and encourage women in law enforcement to take advantage of this opportunity.

The conference theme, Elevate Together: Striving, Thriving, and Shaping the Future of Law Enforcement, reflects a central truth of the profession. Progress does not happen in isolation. It happens when professionals connect with peers who understand the realities of the job, exchange perspectives, and build networks that extend far beyond a single event or agency.

Networking is a core strength of this conference. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with women from municipal, county, state, and federal agencies, as well as civilian professionals supporting law enforcement operations. These connections matter. They create space for mentorship, collaboration, and support systems that carry forward long after the conference concludes. Whether you are early in your career or a seasoned professional, the relationships built in a room full of peers who share your experiences can have a lasting impact.

The conference runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a full day of programming designed to leave attendees informed, encouraged, and professionally refreshed. Sessions focus on growth, leadership, and navigating the evolving demands of modern law enforcement. While the agenda emphasizes inspiration, it remains grounded in the realities of the profession and the practical needs of those serving today.

Location is another advantage. Alhambra Hall, located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, provides a professional and welcoming setting that supports both learning and conversation. Attendees traveling from outside the area can take advantage of a conference hotel rate at Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant, making participation more accessible for agencies across the state.

Registration options are structured to encourage broad participation. Current SCWLE members receive a discounted rate, while non-member registration includes a year of membership. This approach ensures that attendees leave not only with new connections and insight, but also with ongoing access to a statewide network committed to supporting women in law enforcement.

As a statewide organization representing thousands of law enforcement professionals, the South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police recognizes the importance of forums like this conference. Supporting opportunities that strengthen officers, build leadership capacity, and foster professional unity aligns directly with our mission. When women in law enforcement are supported, the entire profession benefits.

Space is limited, and interest in this conference continues to grow. Agencies are encouraged to plan early, and individuals are encouraged to secure their spot as soon as possible. This is not simply a training day. It is an investment in professional growth, peer support, and the future of law enforcement in South Carolina.
